da dobrowin: Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette has revealed his desire to make a move to the Premier League this summer, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
da bwin: Lacazette has been heavily linked with a Lyon exit in recent weeks, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United all keen on the France international.
His performances last term for the Ligue-1 outfit saw him earn rave reviews all over Europe in the summer, but despite the constant interest, the 24-year-old chose to remain with his boyhood club and signed a one-year contract extension back in August.
However, the striker has admitted that he is now ready for a move to England, believing that he has developed enough over the last two years to guarantee a starting place at a new club.
“Now I am used to dealing with all the rumours. But when they started, maybe two years ago, I was destabilised a little by it,” he said in The Telegraph.
“But now I am used to it. For me, it’s not so hard because I was not ready to leave two years ago or even last season.
“I was not ready then and my goal is not to go to England for the sake of going to England and I don’t want to go to a club and sit on the bench.
“So at that time it was not hard for me to stay here. It was a question of waiting until I was ready and I am now ready this summer.”
Newcastle already had a £22million bid for Lacazette accepted by Lyon, but the attacker turned down the opportunity to leave this month.
Lacazette made 40 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 31 goals.
