da bet7: After the hectic nature of Manchester United’s deadline day, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would no doubt have been slightly relieved that all the focus could get back on to the football pitch.
da bet sport: The Red Devils sealed the last-minute loan signing of Odion Ighalo, but the Nigerian was not involved in any capacity against Wolves on Saturday afternoon.
The Manchester side couldn’t find a way past the visitors at Old Trafford, but one man who certainly tried his utmost to help his team over the line, was Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The former Crystal Palace ace was the standout performer according to Sofascore, registering a team-high match rating of 7.8. And when you look at the numbers behind his performance, it is easy to see why.

The 22-year-old has proven all season that he is a force to be reckoned with defensively, with his total of 89 tackles in the Premier League, only behind Leicester’s Ricardo Pereira. And against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men, he produced a textbook performance on how to defend.
He made a quite ridiculous eight tackles, which was double that of the man in second for United, Harry Maguire. Not only that, Wan-Bissaka also made two clearances and blocked one shot too, whilst he won a mammoth 14 ground duels.
Having come under criticism from a section of the United support for his inability to provide anything offensively in the clash against Liverpool last month, Wan-Bissaka made a noticeable improvement on that front on Saturday. He completed five of his eight attempted dribbles, including one moment where he jinked past a Wolves player before laying it off for Juan Mata to fire just wide of the post.

The full-back also registered a team-high 118 touches, provided two key passes and created one big chance, with Diogo Dalot failing to head home the winner from Wan-Bissaka’s inch-perfect cross right at the death.
All in all, it was a monstrous performance at both ends of the pitch from the ex-Palace ace, and despite the Red Devils not picking up all three points, he was certainly one major positive.
Meanwhile, Man Utd’s loan swoop for Odion Ighalo solves the side’s one major issue this season.
