da spicy bet: Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has revealed his latest Championship predictions for the upcoming fixtures this weekend, but he doesn’t believe that Aston Villa will get back to winning ways when they host Fulham at Villa Park.
da dobrowin: Villa’s four-match victorious run came to an end when they were beaten 2-0 by high-flying Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molinuex last Saturday, and Steve Bruce will be keen to see his team bounce back when they host Slavisa Jokanovic’s men.
The Whites were one of the pre-season favourites to be involved in the promotion race after finishing in the play-off positions last term, and after making a slow start to the campaign they have taken 11 points from the last 18 available to jump up to ninth – one point and two places behind Villa – in the standings.
With the two clubs situated so closely in the table, Prutton believes that the spoils will be shared in the Midlands on Saturday.

The 36-year-old said: “Aston Villa were pretty comprehensively beaten by Wolves last weekend and Steve Bruce will want a reaction back at Villa Park on Saturday.
“Fulham will be a tough proposition, however, and although Villa will want to prove they can beat the better teams in the Championship, I think Slavisa Jokanovic’s side will be good for a draw.”
While Villa have seen off the likes of Barnsley, Burton Albion and Bolton Wanderers this term, they have failed to beat Wolves, Cardiff City, Hull City and Middlesbrough – of whom all could be their promotion rivals – and they will want to prove they can mix it with the best teams in the division when they host Fulham on Saturday.
