da betcris: According to a recent report from the Daily Mirror, Everton youngster Mason Holgate has been told that he can leave on loan in January, and Darren Moore should make sure that his destination is the Hawthorns.
What’s the situation?
During the summer, Everton replaced Sam Allardyce with Portuguese boss Marco Silva, and ever since then Holgate has struggled for first-team opportunities. In fact, the youngster has only made five appearances in the Premier League all season, with his last coming against West Ham in mid-September.

With Michael Keane and then summer signings Kurt Zouma and Yerry Mina ahead of Holgate in the pecking order, it is no real surprise that the 22-year-old is being allowed to leave temporarily.
According to the Mirror, Everton’s director of football Marcel Brands has already received interest in the former England U21 international from both Premier League and Championship clubs, so if West Brom are to sign him they will have to act quickly.
The perfect fit
Moore should certainly be looking into the possibility of bringing the youngster to the Championship, as he would be a perfect fit for the way that the Baggies boss wants to play.
In recent weeks, Moore has been forced to play with a back four thanks to the injury suffered by summer signing Kyle Bartley, but it is clear that the West Midlands side were in better form when playing a back three.
Bartley though struggled on the left-hand side of the back three when asked to play there, so a more mobile and younger centre-back should be a priority for Moore in January.
