da roleta:
da imperador bet: [ad_pod ]According to the Mirror, Leeds United have ended their interest in Callum O’Dowda. The Irishman had been a long term target for the Whites as they were interested in his services back in January, but now it seems that a deal isn’t going to happen.
What’s the story?
Leeds have been chasing wingers in this transfer window after it was reported that Marcelo Bielsa wants to prioritise strengthening the wide areas.
There is no suggestion that the Whites have changed their transfer policy in terms of signing new wingers, but now it seems more likely to be a loan signing.
Phil Hay has said that Leeds will go heavy in the Premier League loan market, and their new left-sided player may indeed come from the top flight.
Harrison or Barker
Leeds ending their interest in the Bristol City man may indicate that a move for Brandon Barker or Jack Harrison could be in the pipeline.
United have been linked to the two Man City players, but neither of their two targets have proven themselves to be good enough to aid Marcelo Bielsa’s side in their promotion push.
Harrison has already had one season at Elland Road where he was inconsistent at best, while Barker has also been out on loan in the Championship but managed just six starts for Preston.
Reported target Helder Costa is more comfortable on the right, leaving O’Dowda – who grabbedÂfour goals and four assists in the Championship last season – as pretty much the only left-sided winger Leeds have been linked with who has any proven credentials in this division.
That should concern Whites fans as the club looks to go one better next season.
